After breaking open my new “Glow in the Dark” WoW embossing powder yesterday for my galaxy card here, I couldn’t stop playing with it and decided to see if I could fill a whole card with the fluorescent look! To go one step further, I wanted the card to be fluorescent during the day as well!

So how did I achieve this? I used my new fluo Zig clean color real brushes! They come in 4 colours, green, pink, orange and yellow and when I got them, I found them really cool as the colours are really bright…and fluo! But I didn’t really know what to do with them until I saw an ad for this bag that lights up and I decided to try and reproduce the design on my card!

I so happen to have a stencil from Stamplorations, appropriately called “Stained Glass”, which matched the design on the bag. I placed the stencil over my card base and started colouring it in with my Zig fluo pens. With the stencil still in place, I pressed my Versamark clear ink firmly onto the stencil, making sure it went into all the triangles. I removed the stencil & poured the “Glow in the Dark” Wow embossing powder onto the whole card, removing any stray powders with a brush when needed, before pouring the excess back in to the container.
I then heated the whole card with my heat gun until the powders melted. I cut out the “Amazing” diecut using Stamploration cutplorations die and adhered it onto my card using Uhu glue stick. This coloured panel was then adhered onto a black card base and the card was done. Really easy but has an amazing effect don’t you think?
Well I hope you liked my card. Let me know if you have tried out either the glow in the dark powders or Zig fluos as I would love to come and see how you incorporated them onto your card.
Thanks for stopping by and your comments really do light up my day!
