addicted to stampsHi all, its Wednesday, so another challenge begins over at Addicted to Stamps and More and this week’s theme is “Make Your Mark”, so bring out your pens, markers, colour pencils, watercolours… and show us your wonderful creations! Blossoming bouquet productsI coloured this gorgeous Peony(?) stamp from Crafters Companion called Blossoming Bouquet, using my new Aqua water-based markers by Spectrum Noir. These markers have a dual tip of a fine and brush tip. The fine tip makes it so convenient to deliver the right amount of watercolour to the small areas of my petals and create the “veins” of the flowers. I use the brush tip for larger areas.Blossoming bouquet cuThe sentiment comes from So Suzy stamps which I stamped using Spectrum Noir’s black water-proof dye ink. I added afew paint splatters before die-cutting my watercolour panel with Sue Wilson’s stitched rectangle die. I matted this onto a yellow card base and my card was done!

  7. Wow, Gwendolyn this is such a gorgeous card! Your colouring is simply beautiful and shows off the flowers so well. I can only say I need to practice with those pens a whole lot more ‘cos my results are not worth showing lol!
