Hi all! I’m here to share a card I made for our new challenge over at the a2z Scrapbooking blog, and this month we are asking you to “Color It In”, so bring out your favourite colouring mediums and show us your wonderful creations! You might just be a winner of a digi stamp, or if you have used any Sugartree or Hero Arts products, the prize is a $20 voucher to the a2z Scrapbooking store!
So guess which favourite colouring medium I used on my card today? Well for those who follow me here or on Instagram, you would know by now that my favourite colouring medium is my watercolours! You know they say that watercolour is the most difficult colouring medium? I guess its because its so hard to control, but that’s why I like it, even though I try my best to control it, instead of just letting it flow, but I do love a challenge!
For today’s card, I used the Hero Arts Hang In There Potted Plants stamp set that was part of Hero Arts’s new releases from their 2019 catalogue, which I coloured with my Daniel Smith’s watercolours. For the background, I used the Hero Arts Spiral Petals stencil, which I placed over my card base, sprinkled Turquoise Brushos powder over it, sprayed it with water and let it dry. I cut my potted plants using my Brother Scan and Cut and adhered it to my now dried background. The sentiments come from the same stamp set and also from Hero Arts Hydrangea stamp set. I was lucky they were the same font!
Well I hope my card has inspired you to join in our challenge and I look forward to seeing your cards in the link up. Do pop by the a2z Scrapbooking blog, to see what my fellow DT members came up with, and leave them some love too!
Thanks for stopping by and Have a great weekend!
