There is a very talented 16 year old violinist called Mathea Goh, who also happens to be my niece :), who has just won a prestigious award in Singapore! This award is given yearly to a violinist or string player who has shown a consistent track record of outstanding musicianship and performance. I am so proud of her and I made this card to congratulate her.
I first coloured this beautiful stamp from Our Daily Bread designs “Just a Note” set, with different coloured Tombow markers, lightly sprayed the stamp with water and stamped it on my card. I then masked off a rectangle in the card and coloured around the mask with my Brushos. I removed the mask and cut the panel with My Favourite Things rectangle stitched die. I adhered it to a violet cardstock and it was done!
Heres a close up. The words read “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord” as I know my niece plays also for the Lord!
Hope you enjoyed this brief interlude!

Such a pretty card – the water color edge ties in perfectly. Wonderful choice for the occasion. Thanks for joining in the fun at YNS!
